Slovenian Language Programs at Stanford, CA.

Slovenian language programs (SPECLANG 132A and 395) have been  established in the Language Center of School of Humanities and Sciences at Stanford University. This has been made possible by generous donations from Zvonko Fazarinc, Jure Leskovec (pictured below left), and ASEF.

Instructions have already started and Maria Rode, MLS, has been appointed by Dean Richard Saller to conduct them. Mrs. Rode’s appointment and the establishment of the courses has been supported by the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana. Stanford is now also part of the University of Ljubljana’s program Slovene at foreign universities (Slovenščina na tujih Univerzah).
